The Funding Navigator helps communities connect to water infrastructure investments
The goal is to ensure more communities, particularly those that are overburdened and under-resourced, benefit from government investments in safe and resilient drinking water, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and lead service line replacement.
Our staff can provide project management support and connect you with technical and community experts to improve water, wastewater, and stormwater management services in your community. If you represent an agency, local municipality, Tribe, or utility that serves an overburdened, underserved community and do not have the resources to develop water projects, please click the “Request Technical Assistance” button below. We also welcome requests from frontline, advocacy, community-based, and nonprofit organizations interested in helping a public entity connect with technical assistance. Please note that the Funding Navigator does not provide direct technical assistance to private individuals.
Funding Navigator projects

An eligible entity is defined by the EPA, and may include a local government, municipal authority, public utility, non-profit entity, or jurisdiction that is not currently part of a water or wastewater service area but is seeking to join one. A Funding Navigator Manager will work with an eligible entity based on community needs and priorities., using the following process:
